Due to good weather and diligent craftsmen, the work on the outside is going well. The stone repairers have now completed their work. They have used a mix of crushed stone and lime to repair small sections of weathered stone. Several samples in a range of colours were prepared for the architect to choose the best match. The chosen mix was fixed in place using stainless steel wire armatures. Also on site has been a stonemason and a painter who has been painting the cast iron downpipes. Jon Callan, the glazier has been repairing windows. Other jobs still to be done include repairing small sections of the roof.
